Gaios is the main port on Paxos, the smallest of the seven principal Ionian Islands, in Greece. Gaios is situated on the east coast of the island. It is named after a homonymous pupil of Paul the Apostle, who brought Christianity to the island. It is a charming place full of life during the summer season with a great amount of restaurants, tavernas, bars & caffes in the center. Walikng further in the village the nature has remained untouched & full of wild vegetation.
From Gaios port the small magical island of Antipaxos can be reached with its` beautiful famous sandy beaches & crystal clear and azure waters.
Loggos is a small fishing charming village on the east coast of Paxos just around the corner from the famous Lakka. Tavernas and bars surround the harbour, a very pleasant place to sit and relax. There are three mini-markets and a baker shop which have a good selection of products and also fresh fruits and vegetables. Getting about the island from Loggos is easy. There are bus services going to the other main villages of Paxos -Giaos and Lakka. There are also care hire, scooter hire and bike hire facilities.
